Who are we?

Volunteers from Laurieston Bowling Club, the local village and the wider community of Falkirk.

Who can we help?

Individuals and families in Laurieston who are in need of support during the COVID-19 pandemic. Particularly those who are over-70, pregnant, self-isolating or have an underlying health condition such as COPD.

How can we help?

By collecting prescriptions, shopping for groceries, walking dogs, posting letters, running errands, paying bills and assisting with other essential day-to-day tasks.

What can we not do?

Enter your home and undertake activities such as cooking, cleaning and caring as this might increase the risk of community infection.

If we are able to help, we will arrange for a volunteer to text or call and if necessary visit your home. If not, we will let you know ASAP.

How much do we charge?

Nothing.

If someone asks for payment, please report them immediatey. As they are either breaching our guidelines or not a registered volunteer.
