POSTPONEMENT

Regrettably, due to several acts cancelling at short notice because of the coronavirus, we have had to postpone Party At The Green until Saturday, 22 August.

Pre-bought tickets are valid for the rescheduled date. However, those unable to attend can apply for a refund via details listed on our SPONSORSHIP page.

Please note: all advertisers will continue to be featured in our programme and all donations will continue to form part of our fundraising raffle.

BACKGROUND

Building on the success of Party At The Green – our inaugural family-friendly music festival which in 2019 raised £1000 for SAMH – Laurieston Bowling Club is once again raising awareness, raising money and raising the roof for mental health.

Showcasing eleven acts over seven hours, bookended by a local choir and disco, and supported by a variety of games and activities including a bouncy castle and face-painting, the event will run from 1pm till late on Saturday, 22 August 2020.

The proceeds of which will go to Mental Health Foundation Scotland who for the last seventy years has taken a preventative approach to "find and address the sources of mental health problems so that people and communities can thrive."

MUSICIANS

Featuring some of the best unsigned acts in Central Scotland covering everything from folk and opera to pop and rock, there's sure to be something for everyone.

Pipe Major Jimmy Gavin from Camelon Pipe Band will pipe Laurieston Primary School choir into the clubhouse around 1.30pm and the headliner will bring the curtain down just before 9pm. Thereafter, a post-show disco will keep festival-goers entertained into the wee small hours.

Performers include: Saskia Eng who in 2018 reached the knockout stages of The Voice; Rebecca Traynor, a classically-trained vocalist and two-time winner of Linlithgow's Got Talent; and the hip-thrusting Green Day tribute act Groin Day.
