Beer Garden

Following a £17,000 grant from Falkirk Council's Community Choices fund, we converted a narrow piece of land to the north of our bowling green into an extensive outdoor seating area.

Comprising four eight-seater and five six-seater picnic tables, and boasting wonderful views of the Ochil Hills and the Kelpies, it's an ideal spot for socialising with friends and family during the summer.

In addition, we installed 14 four-seater benches on the other sides of our green which increases our outdoor seating capacity to well over 100.

Outdoor drinking ceases at 10pm and visitors are reminded to respect our neighbours' privacy.

Accessible Facilities

Following a £30,000 grant from FCC Communities Foundation, we converted our committee room into an accessible toilet and provided ramp access to our lounge, function suite and bowling green.

In addition, we secured a £2000 Community Schools grant from Falkirk Council and a £1750 Investing In Health grant from NHS Forth Valley to purchase bowling wheelchairs and a range of bowling aids which are free to use by members, visitors and community groups.
